NEW YORK STATE FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL CEREMONY - posted 9/29/2025

The 28th Annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 11:00 hours at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, New York.

 Members who plan on attending in support of the company, should dress in their Class A uniform. Family Liaisons will be parking at Building 7A and taking the shuttles to the Plaza for the ceremony.

Please plan to be on the first round of shuttles to leave Building 7A. As a reminder, the height restriction for the Empire State Plaza indoor parking garages is 6’6”. This will prohibit vehicles with lightbars from entering as it will cause damage to the sprinkler systems.

There is on-street parking and open air lots around the area of the Plaza for anyone who will not fit in the garage. Parking is $10/day. As a reminder, any Fire Department representatives planning to utilize buses for members should follow the bus drop-off / pick-up and parking instructions.
