Please be advised that an audit is in process regarding TPR entries for the CFR-D differential.

Please review any member who’s CFR-D has expired and may have been given this TPR mark in error. Use form FS-250 to correct this error.

Rosters should be requested from the CFR-D unit at Fort Totten for the most current information regarding expiration dates and current certifications (718-999-2796). Also refer to DO 74/07.

Reminder from the CFR-D Manual:

2 Firefighters Start of Tour

“CFR.D 1.8            In order to be in service as a CFR-D unit, there shall be a minimum of two (2) trained members (Firefighter or Officer) with current CFR-D certification.”

Note: While CFR-D units must begin each tour with two (2) certified Firefighters, in the event that during a tour the minimum CFR-D staffing reduces to 1 Firefighter and 1 Officer, the company shall remain available for CFR-D response.
