On September 9th, we celebrate the accomplishments of the Labor Movement and the important role unions have played in the enhancement of working people’s lives by participating in this year’s Labor Day Parade. We will also march in honor of the members we have lost this year.

Several politicians who have joined forces with the UFOA to fight for causes for working families like WTC Health Benefits have expressed their desire to march side-by-side with us.
 
This year the UFOA will be marching in the lead sector so it is important for everyone to assemble at 44th Street and Vanderbilt Avenue by 10:15 am. Look for the UFOA banner and t-shirts.

We are asking for a very large turnout this year so our solidarity will be recognized.
