Election Results- At last nights General Membership Meeting, nominations were closed. There was one petition submitted by Lieutenant Jim McGowan, one petition submitted by Captain John Dunne and one petition submitted by Battalion Chief Jack McDonnell.
With only one petition being returned for each rank, Recording Secretary Nick Visconti cast one vote for each of the candidates. I want to congratulate Jim, John and Jack on behalf of the Executive Board and the entire membership for their re-election to a new three-year term beginning September 1, 2006 to August 30, 2009.
I also want to thank the membership for their vote of confidence for Jim McGowan, John Dunne and Jack McDonnell, and pledge once again that your Executive Board will continue to work tirelessly for the benefit of the entire membership and your families.
