(LOOK FOR THE WHITE UFOA BANNER)
The UFOA will join the NYS AFL-CIO and the NYC Central Labor
Council for a solidarity rally in support of
TWU Local 100 President Roger Toussaint.
Sending TWU Local 100 President Roger Toussaint to jail simply because he stood up for the rights and well being of his members is wrong. And it should serve as a call to action for all working men and women.
It's time for all working people; public sector workers, private sector workers, union members and unorganized employees to join together and voice a simple but unified message:
Enough is Enough!
Working people across this country are under attack like never before.
Public Sector workers often wait years for a contract because the Taylor Law favors management over the interests of public employees.
Private sector workers face the erosion of protections won 70 years ago under the Wagner Act. Millions of unorganized workers are constantly denied their right to
join a union.
Now is the time to stand together!
